New Morning is Paris’s legendary jazz and blues club since 1981. Founded by Eglal Farhi, the venue’s first act was Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, setting its illustrious tone. With a capacity of around 500, it offers an intimate space where jazz greats like Chet Baker, Dizzy Gillespie, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, and blues icons like Taj Mahal have graced the stage. Not just jazz—rock, funk, world, and occasional superstar surprises like Prince, Bob Dylan, and B. B. King keep the lineup eclectic and electrifying. Its professional sound, proximity between artists and audience, and cozy loft-like ambiance make every concert feel like a communal celebration of music.
